Amazon SDE-2 loop: 5 rounds, and every single one was a Leadership Principles interview in disguise

Phone screen was one DSA + LP stories. Onsite was four rounds: coding, LOD/system design, a behavioral-only round, and the Bar Raiser. Coding went fine but I clearly under-prepared the LPs. Have 2-3 STAR stories per principle, they dig into "tell me about a time" hard. Bar Raiser asked follow-ups until I ran out of story. Rejected on "raise the bar" signal. Coding was never the problem.

The Bar Raiser round is where I fell apart too. They keep asking "and then what happened" until you crack.

People sleep on the LPs and then act surprised. Amazon literally tells you it is half the score.
